CO₂ from samples and eluents converts to carbonate, competing with sulfate and distorting trace-level results. SHINE CRD(CO₂ Removal Device), installed between suppressor and detector, selectively removes CO₂—significantly lowering background conductivity while sharpening target peaks.
The SH-CRD series (SH-CRD-1 for hydroxide, SH-CRD-2 for carbonate systems) is universally compatible and can be used with all brands of ion chromatographs.
