CIC-D100 ion chromatograph is a classic product of Shenghan, which has been accepted by many customers. Based on the latest needs of users, Shenghan produced a newly upgraded CIC-D100. Compared with the previous one, it is more accurate and reliable. The new IC not only can detect anions, cations and other polar substances in different matrix samples, but also separate ions with four orders of magnitude difference.     Compared with the old, the upgraded CIC-D100 has the following advantages:

1. Auto-range Conductivity Detector

    The old conductivity detector meet the detection requirements of samples with different concentrations by shifting the range. The ion concentrations in the actual samples are quite different and lead to flat peaks,which makes it impossible to  detect the same sample at the same time quantitatively. So it needs several measurements to meet the detection requirements.  

   The auto-range conductivity detector automatically adjusts the signal value according to the different concentration of the sample, and 100 ppm Cl- is injected directly without flat head peak (over range).

Advantages:

•  It can directly detect the signal from ppb to ppm without adjusting the range;

• Components with great different concentrations can be analyzed by injecting one sample to shorten the analysis time;

• Reduce the errors caused by dilution of samples for low-content components.

  
  

2. Compatible with various chromatographic columns

    The upgraded CIC-D100 ion chromatograph can be compatible with carbonate and hydroxide system columns. The sensitivity of the latter is much higher than that of the former and can be used for accurate detection of trace ions. Shenghan is the second manufacturer in the world that can develop and mass produce hydroxide system columns.

3. Software Upgrade: One button start and close

    When starting the ion chromatograph, many parameters need to be set in order, and shutdown operation also needs to shut down different functional components in order, which will take up the time of users and there is a risk of misoperation.

   The upgraded IC-D100 adds the function of intelligent startup and shutdown. Each operation can be interlocked by software program. With only one key operation, multiple parameter setting and switching can be completed, which is helpful to improve the efficiency of analysis.
