Organic halogen compounds (such as derivatives of fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine) are widely used in flame retardants, antibacterial agents, bleaching agents, and other processes for textiles. These compounds have high toxicity, bioaccumulation, and carcinogenicity, and may pose a risk to human health through skin contact or inhalation of released gases. Halogen compounds are difficult to degrade in natural environments and can easily spread through water, soil, and air, causing ecosystem pollution. The international standard IEC 61249-2-21 stipulates that the total amount of chloride and bromide shall not exceed 1500ppm.
