On May 28-29, the Nuclear Industry Ion Chromatography Technology Exchange Conference of the Analytical Instrument Professional Branch of the China Nuclear Instrument Industry Association was held in Qingdao,China, with the theme of "Precision Analysis, Safe Operation, and Technological Innovation". The conference is hosted by the Analytical Instruments Professional Branch of the China Nuclear Instrument Industry Association, and organized by China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Shine Chromatograph Technology Co., Ltd. More than 60 experts, scholars, and industry representatives from 32 units across the country gathered together to discuss the cutting-edge applications and future development of ion chromatography technology in the nuclear field.

Guan Yafeng, chief researcher of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Shi Yali, researcher of the Ecological Environment Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xue Dingshuai, senior engineer of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhang Leilei, director of the technology department of the China Nuclear Instrument Industry Association, and Sun Yangyang, assistant general manager of Qingdao Shine Chromatograph Technology Co., Ltd. attended the meeting. Liu Quanwei, Secretary General of the Analytical Instruments Professional Branch of the China Nuclear Instruments Industry Association, presided over the opening ceremony.

This conference specifically set up user discussion and practical demonstration sessions. User representatives conducted in-depth discussions on common issues and solutions related to the use, operation, and maintenance of ion chromatographs. At the instrument operation site, professional engineers provide full guidance, covering instrument operation, rinse solution preparation, calibration modeling, data processing, troubleshooting and maintenance, further enhancing the practical ability of front-line technical personnel.
This exchange meeting has established an efficient platform for "industry academia research application", which takes into account cutting-edge theories and engineering practices. It not only promotes the sharing of experience in ion chromatography technology in the nuclear industry, but also lays a solid foundation for the research and promotion of domestically produced instruments, the improvement of industry standards, and the cultivation of professional talents.
